La Cueva is looking to run in back to back to back. That is right, a three-peat is on the horizon for the Bears and they are hungry enough to get the job done.
Las Cruces is fresh off a championship appearance in 2022. The Bulldawgs have a roster that will be competitive all year long.
Cloudcroft has a few key returners who will help the Bears be a scary team to play. Look for them to return to the playoffs as an even more dangerous team.
This list would not be complete without mentioning 5A District 1 which is full of talented teams. (Cleveland, Cibola, Volcano Vista, Rio Rancho) Cleveland looks to be a top contender this year. Cibola is always capable of beating anyone they play. They find a way to win time and time again. Volcano Vista is a feisty team that competes well and Rio Rancho is tough too.
