New Mexico’s offense was very efficient. They scored touchdowns on their first four drives. Meanwhile, the Lobo defense intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble. They achieved a 42-21 win over the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors. This win brought their season record to 3-4 (1-2 in the conference). Hawai’i, on the other hand, dropped to 2-6 for the season and 0-3 in the Mountain West.
Hawai’i still leads the all time series with New Mexico, 16-11.
