New Mexico had a strong second half with standout performances from Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Caleb Medford. The team’s defense held Fresno to just four yards until the final drive. They secured their first win in Fresno since 1994. The final score was 25-17. This win brings their season record to 4-7.

The Lobos outscored Fresno State 13-3 in the second half, dominating the game and outgaining their opponents 262-63. Additionally, UNM’s defense turned up the dial in the second half. They forced Fresno to a -8 rushing stat line for the half.

Fresno still holds the all time series lead over New Mexico at 15-6.

GAME NOTES

New Mexico finished with season high of 345 yards rushing.

The Lobos had 183 yards passing.

Donte Martin got his 31st pass break up which ties Glover Quinn for the all-time school record.

Caleb Medford had six receptions for 122 yards, both career highs.
