
Lobos Rally Late to Take Down Idaho State in Home Opener

Week 2 brought the Lobos back to Albuquerque — and back into the win column. In front of 17,639 fans, their largest opening-night crowd since 2018, New Mexico rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Idaho State 32–22.

Running back Scottre Humphrey was electric, rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns, including a momentum-shifting 61-yard burst. His ability to break tackles and extend drives kept the Bengals’ defense on its heels.
