2025 APS Metro Soccer Championships: Girls’ Semifinal Photo Gallery
September 3, 2025 – APS SOCCER COMPLEX, Albuquerque, NM
The gold bracket for the 2025 APS Metro Girls Soccer Championships featured two 5A and two 4A Albuquerque teams. La Cueva, Volcano Vista, Hope Christian, and Albuquerque Academy.
Kasey Sandoval found the back of the net for Volcano Vista in the first half. Volcano ended the match with a shutout over La Cueva, one nil. They advance to the final this Friday.
The other semifinal featured two private school powerhouses. Hope Christian and Albuquerque Academy. The first half ended with Hope up one nothing. In the second, the Huskies poured on the goals. Hope scored five goals in the second to cruise to an easy victory. All six goals were scored by different players.
Volcano and Hope will face off for the championship trophy September 5 at 7pm at the APS Soccer Complex.
