Albuquerque and Sandia squared off in a class 5A quarterfinal. The game stayed close until the fourth quarter where the Bulldogs pulled away late.
Sandia sophomore, #25 Kaiyah Benally, put up 13 PTS and pulled down 11 REB.
Albuquerque senior, #14 Lailah Bouldin, led the Bulldogs with 14 PTS, going 3-8 behind the arc. She also tacked on 13 REB and 3 STL. Sophomore, #2 Abby Pavia, had 12 PTS and 6 REB.
The Bulldogs will face the winner from the Hobbs La Cueva game later today in the semifinals.
