Bengals move on to semifinals

The Gallup Bengals and Silver Fighting Colts squared off in a class 4A quarterfinal with the Bengals emerging victorious, 48-38.
Silver made runs throughout the game but could never quite fully close the gap. The Bengals scored 26 PTS off of turnovers and dominated in the paint with 26 PTS as well.
Gallup had a total team effort in scoring. Mykeia Vicenti led the charge with 11 PTS and 12 STL.
Silver’s Nyssa Tinajero put up 20 PTS and grabbed 16 REB in an extraordinary effort for the Colts.
Gallup will face Albuquerque Academy in the semifinals.
